Contact Improvisation is a partner dance form based on the physical principles of touch, momentum, shared weight, and most quintessentially - following a shared point of contact. Every Saturday at Haw Creek Commons there is an open Contact Improvisation Jam- a space to freely explore the form of contact improv. You do not need experience to attend the jam. Lillie brings a wide array of sounds from clear angelic vocal tones to playful loop experiments- her voice will take you on a dynamic musical journey. A lifelong dancer herself, she allows the dance to inspire the sound and the sound to inspire the dance in a sweet spiral of embodied creativity.
