Come celebrate our Earth Mother by singing her praises!

Something special happens when we come together to sing. It is an ancient remembering of our communities gathering around the fire, joining in one song, the repetition bringing us deeper into presence, transcending time and space. We lift our voices in joy, grief, and praise, and find that when we tune our voices together we tune into something bigger than ourselves.

These songs remind us of our unique humanness, as well as our connection to all life- our belonging to the world. These are songs for everyone, regardless of singing experience. They are prayers, invocations, magic spells, and mantras. In these circles we hold ceremonial space for the songs to do their healing work, to brew the melodic magic of collective singing.

Lillie Lumina is a seasoned song leader from the Singing Alive tradition and will guide the group in learning a variety of sacred songs together. You are also invited to bring your own songs of praise, gratitude, joy, sorrow, connection to the Earth, growth, love, etc from any culture or practice that can be taught and sung by the group with ease. Instruments are welcome (drum/rattle/guitar, etc.), though they should be used with care to support the voice, and not over power it.

We will be outside, connecting with the elements, so please bring anything you will need to be comfortable sitting on the Earth (blanket, pillow, etc).

You may also choose to bring a snack to share if you feel inspired.
