Something special happens when we come together to sing. It is an ancient remembering of our communities gathering around the fire, joining in one song, the repetition bringing us deeper into presence, transcending time and space. We lift our voices in joy, grief, and praise, and find that when we tune our voices together we tune into something bigger than ourselves. These songs remind us of our unique humanness, as well as our connection to all life- our belonging to the world. These are songs for everyone, regardless of singing experience. They are prayers, invocations, magic spells, and mantras. In these circles we hold ceremonial space for the songs to do their healing work, to brew the melodic magic of collective singing.
